How to use

  1. 1Pick the sport (football, basketball, volleyball), the pattern and the collar style.
  2. 2Set the main colour, second colour, collar and trim colour and text colour.
  3. 3Type the name and number for the back, the chest text and the sleeve badge text.
  4. 4Click “Download PNG” to save the front and back view 1080 px wide.

Which pattern works best?

Vertical stripes and halves are the easiest kits to recognise from a distance, which helps on video and from the touchline. Hoops make a shirt look fuller and suit chunky, classic designs. A sash or chevron adds character to an otherwise plain shirt; choose a second colour with strong contrast to the base. On the back view, halves and sash are mirrored because you are looking at the shirt from behind.

Make names and numbers readable

Referees and match secretaries need to read numbers from across the pitch. Pick a text colour that contrasts strongly with the base; the tool draws the back number with an outline in the trim colour so it stays readable even on stripes. Basketball vests carry a big number on the front too, while football shirts use a small chest number. Keep surnames short – names longer than 10–12 letters shrink across the shoulders.

Before you send it to a kit supplier

The PNG is a mock-up to show your idea to a kit supplier or printer; the real cut, fabric and printing method (sublimation, flock, heat transfer) depend on the manufacturer. It is ideal for letting players vote on colour options before ordering. No club crests or brand logos are included; create your own badge with the team logo maker. Frequently asked questions

How can I design my own jersey for free?

Choose the sport and pattern, set the colours and type a name and number. The preview updates instantly and “Download PNG” saves front and back for free, no sign-up needed.

Can I add a sponsor to the shirt?

Yes. Whatever you type in “Chest text” is printed across the front. Logo uploads are not supported; it is text only.

How do I choose kit colours for a Sunday league team?

Avoid the colours most teams in your league already wear, pick a contrasting second colour so you can play without bibs, and make sure the goalkeeper kit is clearly different.
